In the opposite direction, we found it impossible *not* to take this route, since we emerged bleary-eyed from the airport, saw a train ticket desk, muttered something about Akihabara (which is where our hotel was), got sold those $10 tickets and pointed in the direction of a platform.

Okay, admittedly, I forgot about the standard subway stuff, but last time I was in Tokyo I tried that and it felt like it took forever due to the number of stops.  In general, I found that the Tokyo Metro stuff was easy to handle, but without a copy of a JR map in English, I seem to get lost every time.  Could be that I'm challenged tho.</description>
